The Chamber Music Festival of Lexington presents the Lexington Chamber Orchestra in its first concert of the 2024-25 season for November 16, 2024, at 7:30 P.M. at Centenary Church on Tates Creek Road.

Come watch Marcello Cormio lead the all-string orchestra, with Margie Karp as concertmaster. Hear chamber works by Handel, Elgar, de Falla and Dvořak. We are so pleased that soprano Angelique Clay will join LCO to sing the beautiful Siete Canciones Populares Españolas by Manuel de Falla.

  • de Falla, Siete Canciones Populares Españolas (Seven Spanish Folksongs) — soloist, Angelique Clay

  • Dvořak, String Quartet no. 12 op. 96 "American" — string orchestra arrangement

There is a suggested donation of $20 per person to attend. Students with an ID and children 12 and under are free.
